So, where is Pattaya?
Pattaya is situated on the East Coast of the Gulf of Thailand, a 90-minute drive from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. If you are coming to Pattaya from the city of Bangkok, it is just 2 hours away.
How do I get to Pattaya?
Pattaya Central has an airport taxi/transfer service that can pick you up at the gate, and drop you straight at you hotel. You can also hire cars, or catch a bus to make your way to Pattaya.
When should I visit Pattaya?
The climate here in Pattaya is pretty awesome. Even during our rainy season (from June to Novemebr), we enjoy some lovely sunshine.
Why should I visit Pattaya?
Pattaya has something for everyone! Alongside its fantastic range of activities – from water sports to shopping, street food to nightlife, Pattaya gives you more bang for your Baht! Excellent value for money can be found everywhere in Pattaya, and your hard-earned will go a lot further than in most Thai beach destinations!

Now, it’s time for some nighttime fun… Unique and intriguing, Pattaya’s nightlife is everything you could wish for, plus much, much more!! Pattaya’s most famous location for nighttime action is Walking Street, in the south of the city. It’s the centre of all things nightlife in Pattaya, and is popular with not only tourists, but Pattaya locals! In places like Walking Street, you will come across some incredible restaurants, live music, bars, dance clubs, street entertainers and, yes, the occasional ladyboy.
I’m here now, how do I get around?
Pattaya is a pretty easy place to get around. The easiest way to get around is on the songthaews (Baht Buses), and it’s super cheap! Most fares within the main areas of Pattaya will close less than one US dollar. There are many transport options available, from hiring a car or motorbike, but if you are looking for a reliable car service to get to and from the airport, we at Pattaya Central can organize this for you in a jiffy.
